When i was in junior school, probably around age 10 (loooong time ago) we were read to at the end of each day and the chapter book that really sticks in my mind was about a brother and sister who discover a dragon on the beach and visit it every day (I think they might have been on holiday). Can't track down its name/author, despite googling the details - there are loads of dragon books around now. Does it ring any bells with anyone?

I remember a book called Dragon in Danger. It's one of a series by Rosemary Manning. Could this be it?

FaronYoung - Rosemary Manning yes! I checked on amazon and that's the one, so have already ordered it secondhand. Hope they like it as much as I did! Thanks very much.
