Book Day - Ideas for 9 yr old girl

My daughter has announced she wants to dress up, (I thought she would be too old for dressing up) anyway something which is cheap and easy to do. Can you help?

Various Jacqueline Wilson characters are easy - some of the children in my class used to come as one of them.
