Hackney schools... again.

Is there anyone out there who knows anything about Benthal primary school. It had an outstanding Ofsted this year, parents seem to like it - and yet it's not one of the stokey popular places to go...in fact, I don't know anyone who goes there. Anyone know why? Is it any good. Does your child go there... if so please tell me what you think. Also interested to hear about Simon Marks. It was all the rage a few years ago, but it doesn't seem so popular now.
I'm asking because I'm about to move to SN and the houses are cheaper on the east side of the high street.

We went to look around last year and loved it. We're moving out of the area but if we weren't we'd def be sending DD there. I suspect its not on everyone's radar as it's not quite in stokey is it? The catchment is definitely the 'wrong' side of the high st. Has lots of lovely hidden green space. Why not book a visit? Don't know anything about Simom Marks I'm afraid.
