For anyone who didnt watch it they basically are doing an experiment in a primary school to see if boys learn better in a more physical, outdoor, dangerous environment. Our boys are falling behind the girls and there seems to be a lot of people thinking its simply because boys arent made to sit in a classroom all day, they need to take risks and burn off energy.

I dont know if a thread has been posted about this, i cant seem to find one. Was wondering who has been watching this and what do you think of the concept? I sky+ this and watched it yesterday and i was glued to it, i think its a fantastic idea.

My DS is 8 and in year 4 and i must admit if teaching was more like this he probs would be a level higher in litteracy! Boys are not made to sit still in a classroom all day like girls are (yes i have girls too) We go on about equal opportunities for both boys and girls but maybe we do need to be treating them differently!

What do you think?
