Talk to the teacher or wait and see?!

My dd moved school in the summer term of reception. Her last school was brilliant and I was really impressed with her learning, she would come most days talking about new sounds (e.g "igh" sounds "I" mummy!). Since moving to her new school we have not any of that and it seems her reading is going backwards. I am so frustrated. It really does feel as if she is falling behind!!! I know it's only week 2 of being back so should I wait longer or say something??

See what phonics scheme they're doing. Looks like last school might be Read Write Inc. It might be an idea to go through this school's phonic progression at home if they use a different scheme. Ask the teacher.
