Im after some help / advice from anyone out there in a similar situation.
My DS has just stared in year one but lacks total confidence with making new friedns or joining in with any after school activities. The school were offering a after school club doing football to which he crazed to go, but when the teacher went to send him there with the other children he burst out crying & refused to go.. She therefore didnt send him & kept him in the classroom with her. He has friends in his class, but only a very select few. Probably sounds like a really stupid post, but I do worry about him eing left behind from his friends & being on his own.. We did have a small problem with light bullying when he was in reception class. Do I force him to do these things or carry on as I am at his pace!?!?
