How does DS2's teacher make these bookmarks?

At Christmas and the end of last year, DS2s teacher gave each child a personalised book mark. It had a picture of a cartoon animal/insect and a message with his name, best wishes for next year from Mrs X.

I assume she's printed them and then laminated them and they're really very sweet keepsakes.

DS2 loves making gifts for relatives, but DS1 has some co-ordination problems and gets disheartened when his efforts aren't as good as his little brother's. I'm thinking he could make some really professional looking bookmarks, if only I knew how....

How will she have done it? Might there be a link? I have spent the last hour looking without success though. She's left the school now to go travelling, or I'd ask.

Any ideas much appreciated.

I presume you print them off and then laminate them.

activity village have free "printables" and there are often bookmarks to print off. Some of them are really nice.
