where are teaching assistant jobs advertised?

Just wondering are these posts advertised in local papers or in national newspapers educational supplements? (Or indeed online which would be so much easier!)

In our LEA all Education vacancies are advertised on the council website. You can sign up to be sent an email listing every Education vacancy, which usually comes out once a month.

Also just try speculative letters to schools, a lot may only advertise in school newsletters.

In my LA TA jobs are advertised on the County Council web site under the jobs in schools section
