Has anyone found the perfect white socks?

Not an educational question, more a grabbing of captive audience of parents with kids same age as mine.

Can anyone identify a white unisex sock that won't shrink in a 40degree wash? I want to buy at least 2 dozen prs for my two infants who have similar sized feet.

In a word, no. But the M&S ones aren't that bad. H&M, Gap kids/baby gap also pretty good.

I "hate" white socks because they hardly stay white. Is it for PE? I could not find any information regarding the colour of socks in our school book. Is the white colour is a must for PE?

Nope, it's for everyday wear, I prefer white socks on kids but I'm not bothered about keeping whites white thoughGrin. I just want one big set of white socks that fit both kids so I don't have to waste time matching them up!
