Which option would you choose?

I have two DC one DD and one DS. One option is a co-ed prep school, 15 minute round trip. Downsides new headmaster about to start, minority girls and very little girls sport and I have a sporty DD. All kids localish to the school.

Second option, two separate single sex schools but at least a 40minute round trip, probably 50mins. Downside both schools have children from a very wide catchment area. Both schools suit the DC much better than the co-ed.
