Kickers boots anyone?

I'm thinking of getting DD Kickers boots for school, but we don't have any local stockists, so I can't have a look before buying.

Are they made of soft leather, they look a bit stiff and rigid on the photos? Also what's the sizing like? I've heard that you should buy the size up, but DD has skinny feet, so not sure if we'd need to.

They are quite stiff. My daughter had a pair for school but they caused blistered ankles

Thanks mrz. DD blisters really easily, so perhaps not the best idea.
