my dd starts primary school in september and also a coupel of things she has said lately, make me think it is time I had a chat with her about keeping herself safe eg not having to do things that others tell her, not going with any adult that she doesnt know etc etc

has anyone got any pointers? I dont want to scare her but I do believe in telling her the truth instead of some watered down ineffective rambling.

or any story books that might be a good starting point?

she will collected from school sometimes by me and sometimes by a childminder and will have to walk with the childminder and other children along a main road. I just want to have covered a few basic things before i send her off into the big bad scary world! I am soooo nervous about it all (not showing it though I dont think) I am a big worrier
