Don't know mathswizz but DS1 (Y5) uses mathletics and really likes it. His maths is pretty weak so the fact that he will willingly spend time on this is a plus for us.

My DCs school has a bulk membership to Mathletics (I think through the Council) so is obviously well thought of. My DCs really enjoyed it at first, but the enthusiasm seems to have reduced somewhat after the initial excitement. I think the actuall exercises are pretty good though.

I've just bought Mathswhizz after trialling it for free. My dd (going into year 6 in September) lacks confidence in Maths and was falling behind. We've been using it for nearly a week and already I can see a huge improvement! She loves using the site, it's bright and colourful to teach concepts and then gives pencil and paper exercises followed by a test. At first she cried and couldn't do it, today I got up to find her working out percentages on her own and getting them right! I'd definitely recommend it!
