I've read a few comments on this within other posts. Can people recommend this? I thought it might be worth trying over the summer holidays? Are there any downsides?

Sorry, I've got not experience of it, but will be watching this post with interest as my DD1 (in Year 1) is struggling with her maths & I'm thinking of trying over the summer hols too.

My kids have done it at various times. They quite enjoy it, more for the younger age really, then it gets a bit serious.
Their customer support are very good when I've contacted with problems.

It also does teach rather than just test on what they have already been taught.

We use Maths Whizz for the other end of the spectrum DD has a maths age a year in advance of her actual age. She loves winning points and saving to 'buy' things in the shop, currently she is saving for the cat.

DD Loves it. It has really helped, both with confidence and ability - especially the way new concepts are introduced with clear and easy to understand explainations.
It has also helped me loads to understand the way the children are being taught and the range of maths vocab being used.Id
recommend it.
