He got a 2b ....... in writing

He has struggled soooo much for ages (since reception) and tried really really hard. These last 6 months it's all started to come together. Guess who's getting lots of chocolate tonight

My DD struggles too so I know how fab it is when they achieve those kind of marks!!

Just wanted to say I know just how you feel my son was two years behind coming into Y6 (goodness knows why, but the school had failed to pick up the fact he had not 'got' reading and writing first time round).
After putting loads of effort in myself, paying for an after school tutor a couple of hours a week, and going through the whole Toe By Toe book with a professional - finally my son is AVERAGE !!!! Woooohoooo !
It is almost impossible to describe the joy and refief this bring to a parent.

I have no idea what a 2b is, but if he has worked so hard he deserves his treat.

well done ds, my ds got a 1b (yr1) and he wasn't even at level 1 at beginning of the year. Its the best feeling in the world isn't it for you and gs.
