I hear they've been out since last Tuesday- KS2, that is.

I understand the school have to correlate, evaluate- I dunno.... massage??! them, but please just send the ruddy things OUT!

DS1's last year at primary has been if not dominated but certainly heavily influenced by them so let's be having them!

KS2 results HAVE to be reported, ours went out last Wednesday, after the thresholds were issued on Tuesday

Sorry, I meant reported to parents! Results are never reported individually to the public although school results are reported when schools have more than 10 children sitting them ( we have 11!)

Once again there are problems with the English marks in particular so many schools have returned papers for remarking.

We got ours on Friday just gone.

I am a bit surprised, tbh. I thought our school would be tripping over itself to brag as it came 3rd or 4th in the county last year. Bloody league tables... Reckon the Parentmail came out 20 minutes after they received the results!

I agree with all that about SATS measuring teachers, not DCs etc etc, but the fact remains, it was made perfectly clear to the DCs that they were working towards producing their best work on a given day. They tried to deliver. Now it's the school's turn to deliver. DCs -like all of us- want to see 'cause and effect'.

On top of that, DS1 mentioned today that he has to do his 'Science SATS' today as apparently the secondary want the results. He knows it's 'in house', not national, but why are they titting about with these NOW when they seem unwilling or unable to satisfy all of our curiosities re the OFFICIAL SATS results?! Hope they can work out for themselves why the DCs may not take the Science so seriously!

DS1's SATs results came home yesterday with his end of year report

Hooray- finally came today!
Hurdles jumped, boxes ticked!

Am I right in thinking there won't be League Tables published this year? I hope not as they are essentially meaningless!
