Film and series recommendations to watch with a 12-year-old

Does anyone have a film or series recommendations that I can watch with my 12yo DD?
We have:
netflix
disney+
prime
sky movies

A lot of shows seem to have sex references and swearing in, which doesn’t suit our interests.

Enola Holmes on Netflix is good.

If it’s still on Netflix, Julie and the Phantoms was lovely but unfortunately no second series.

We also enjoyed Never Have I Ever, it does have sex references though.

Films: Enola Holmes is the favourite. They also liked Legally Blonde

Loads more but I can’t think of them right now!

We've been enjoying Young Sheldon although it does have a few references it's kind of relevant to the family theme not gratuitous.

I second Enola Homes.
He Man was surprisingly good!
The Mandalorian series was awesome.

Following also, because we struggle for crowd pleasers.

The percy jackson series is good - there are 2 series out, and series 3 is due to start in Dec- on disney plus.
My DS12 has also liked the 3 Enola Holmes films, and we are currently working through the Christopher Nolan Batman films (surprisingly rated as 12 on Netflix).
Also enjoyed Hawkweye series - dont really have to have seen other Avengers things to watch it.
Quite liked the Adam Project on Netflix.
Also The Martian and Project Hail Mary. There is a tiny but of swearing in the Martian (but it is in context).
Mitchells and the machines is a good animated film.
He man was surprisingly good - quite tongue in cheek humour
Also - was pleasantly surprised by the sheep detectives!

Whole bunch of Spiderman movies currently on BBC Iplayer - might suit

My 12 year likes Merlin, and Robin Hood both on iplayer

Ghosts (the UK version) on iplayer

My 12 yo loved Malcom in the Middle, it’s very funny!

depends on taste but all creatures great and small the newer version is family friendly
