Period swimwear for 11 year old - can it be returned if unused?

As above really. We are going on holiday in 2weeks time. DD is 11, and other than not having underarm hair she has every other sign of impending periods.
I started my period a few days after turning 11 and DD body wise is very similar to how I was at the time.

Our holiday is our first abroad together (single parent) it’s taken me ages to save up for so don’t want the worry of a period stopping her swimming as she absolutely loves the water.

Can anyone recommend some good period swimwear? I’m thinking just a pair of bikini bottoms that if they don’t get used, could be sent back maybe? Is this even possible as I know they count as underwear but if still in the package would it be ok?

Can anyone Help please! 🙏 x

Surely if she doesn’t use it this holiday it will be useful in the not-too-distant future at the swimming pool?

Good point! She seems to be growing so quickly at the moment but hopefully they’d last!

Just wear them even if not needed?
