Our DS is in year 6. This week he’s been worrying that he’s attracted to boys as well as girls. We’ve talked about it but he’s still worrying.

Can anyone recommend a book for him that focuses more on hormones and sexual feelings please?

We have DH's copy of this from the late 90s that his mum hung onto all these years:

It's great, lots of gender non conforming images, honest stuff about being gay or bisexual just being as normal as everything else, and science based. The newer editions seemed to have some worryingly non-scientific info about gender in it so we have stuck to the late 90s edition!! If you buy a new book, vet it carefully.

This might be useful, I think. It’s a general sex ed book with stuff on body changes, hormones, etc but has some very good chapters on sexuality, peer relationships, having feelings for others, etc. www.waterstones.com/book/how-to-grow-up-and-feel-amazing/dr-dr-ranj-singh/david-oconnell/9781526362957?sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=259955&awc=3787_1751321302_7ca0016ce2785ba5ffefdb8c09b4f028&utm_source=259955&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=Genie+Shopping+CSS
