Looking for recommendations for period swimwear. New to period pant, so want to know what people recommend.

For my slim 12 year old, so looking for teen or can possibly manage with an adult size 6.

I know it's a little early, but swimwear it starting to appear in shops now and want to know where to look.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve always bought online - have Wuka and Modibodi, both for me and 17 year old DD. I’ve never seen them in shops but I guess M&S might do as they have a big range of period pants.

Both Wuka and Modibodi have teen-specific ranges.

May I jump on this post for me. Which out of the 2 would you recommend? And why? I'm struggling to believe the science but am a huge convert to non swimwear period pants from Modibodi.

@TheOrphanTree I have a slight preference for Modibodi but to be honest there’s not much in it. I wouldn’t wear them with heavy flow but I’ve found them to be fine for light to medium.

I’ve just bought these for teeny dd2 who is 12 and a size 6. They were cheap but dd2 says they work and they are shaped like lots of bikinis in the shop. They are v fashionable looking. I don’t know how long they will last as they are new. I was impressed how cheap they are.

dd1 has these
https://amzn.eu/d/h3B0dsU these are modibodi - they are absolute workhorses. DD1 is 16 and had her period 4 years and she has worn these constantly every summer. They have faded a bit but they work brilliantly. They make her feel very secure.
