Period book for 8/9 year old recommendation

I am looking for a period book to read through with my 8 year old daughter, almost 9. She's quite slim and active with no signs of puberty, but thought it would be best to start now.

I am looking for books that DO NOT mention "people who menstruate" or any other type of crap... girl, female, young women only...

Dr Emily Macdonagh - growing up for girls.
I really like it. When my daughter was younger we read specific chapters together but now at 11 I'm happy for her to look through it whenever.

We had the What's Happening book at first too. Very clear and a good one to start with.

We also bought the book and had the discussion at almost 9 as DD was the youngest of her friends.

A Mighty Girl has some other book recommendations here.

I also bought her the Hey Girls Period Starter Kit.

Milli Hill’s is 100% girl centred, so I recommend her book My Period on that basis alone.

Isla's World Books, A Girl's Puberty Guide is excellent

I got my DD the What's Happening to Me book too when she was 8, we looked through it together, she also reads it on her own. The last few weeks we have just been going over it more together.
