Can anyone help? We were going to wait until Easter to get DS (ear 6) a phone for just prior to starting secondary, but he and two of his friends have birthdays at Christmas and both other friends now have mobile phones.
We have an old samsung S5 and got a sim for this as a bit of a rush job this week, thinking it'll do the trick, but it seems you can't download Google Family Link onto it. I don't know what other settings work either, and it's driving me insane. I just wanted to make sure he wasn't feeling left out, but it seems to install proper protection apps we need a newer Samsung type.
Does anyone have a child with an S5 and know how to install basic protection on it? We'll get something newer so we can install better security etc, but if he has this in the meantime is it pointless?!
