Swimwear which provides period protection

Has anyone found the best type of swim wear ideal bikini for our summer holidays. My daughter is 12 (13 next week) hasn't started yet but I am sure if I don't buy now then she will start when we are away.

Modibodi swimwear is excellent. My daughter wears the bikini bottoms under a bikini top and nike pro shorts on holiday and works a treat!

@Bohoboo Thank you I will have a look at the Modibodi site. That's a good idea with nike pro shorts too do they have a big tan line though.

@YoungWild what did you go for in the end? I'm just looking for my daughter as we are away in august & im in the same situation x

We used Modibodi bikini bottoms for my DD last summer, and they were great.

Ruby Love. My DD looked at others but they were all very boring black pieces, not exactly the ‘funky’ prints and styles young teens like. They also had the issue that even though they were 12yo they were extremely slight and wore a size suitable for an 8yo. Ruby Love ticked all the boxes, good prints and styles for young girls, great quality, huge size range going down really small size g with girls styles. DD still buys their swimsuits to this day. They are pricey, but with basic care last around 3 years of heavy use.

Modibodi do some swim shorts which look good but they only have age 10-12 in & I think I might need the next size up
I think if they don't get more in I'll get the bikini bottoms and then some swim shorts to go over them for extra security.
I'll take a look at Ruby love too I've not heard of them.
