App Life360 paid vs free version

I got the paid version, I pay almost £5 per month for a year now but someone said it’s exactly the same as the free version, so I thought I would ask here you who have the free version how it is?
On the paid one I can see my child travelling in a car, the speed they are doing, apparently this is on free version too?
Anyone had both and can confirm?
If it is ok than I will stop the payments, as not keen to fork out £60 per year if not any significant differences.

mine has notifications for :
*Place notifications, when member arrives/ leave place.
*Safe drive notification, when member completes a drive along with distance and top speed.
*Low battery notifications- when member has a low battery.
*Drive detection- history, crash detection.

I only use the free version.
I can see the speed when travelling at the time of travel, but if I view a ‘trip’ I can see the top speed, route and distance travel.

Maybe cancel the paid subscription and if you aren’t happy, then re start the paid version
