Resources for DD10 to help with friendship drama

Hello,

I'm looking for resources essentially to 'teach' DD10 how to manage friendships, how to be a good friend and how to maintain friendships.

She's always been a bit dramatic with her friendships and now with the addition of hormones she seems to be busy blowing up the couple of nice friendships she does have. She's also putting her siblings on edge, they start to play and then she'll fly off the handle about anything out of nowhere leaving everyone stressed and walking on eggshells. It wouldn't surprise me if her peers were just too afraid to play with her for fear of the reaction they might get about absolutely anything at all.

Anyway it's occurred to me today that i just don't think she has the social skills to maintain friendships. It's doesn't come naturally to her. I would like to have more active discussions about friendship with her, she's very teachable and I think she just needs it spelling out.

Any help/advice appreciated 🙏

I don’t think such ‘resources’ exist she just needs a few frank but tactful discussions with you if she’s having a fall out. Teens are inherently dramatic so I wouldn’t worry too much.

She's been dramatic since age 5 so I don't think it's just a teen thing, that's just exaggerating the problem
