So tired of this shit

Another day, another home day. DD has been off for a few days with a bug but is now well enough in my mind to back to school. She says she isn't and is refusing. However she has school anxiety and I know that's the underlying issue.
So today she will mope around the house while I try and work.
I am so tired of the tears (hers and mine) arguments and the anxiety. And she's missing out on all the fun things. Doesn't want to go into today because she doesn't like Thursdays. Give me give strength.

Do the school know about the school refusal and are you getting any support?

Have you seen the GO about her anxiety as well?

School are fully aware and very supportive thankfully, the GP apologetically advised we would be best to push it back to school for a CAMHS referral as the waits are so long and little the GPs can do sooner.
It's just so draining.

That's such a shame. Does the school or GP know of any local charities that provide Counselling for children?
