please recommend movies to watch 12 year old DD

Breaking the movie advice, but his dark materials on iPlayer has a third season out this year and would be a perfect watch with a 12yo DD!

For some reason my phone changed that to Ebola Holmes but I think that's a different film entirely

DD is quite liking apocalyptic movies - the day after tomorrow and the like.

DD was a huge fan of the BBC Sherlock

You may notice a theme now she's a bit older of things I actually want to watch. Having endured kids movies/TV for a long time.

Most of these are on Disney plus,.the others are just movies I have enjoyed and still do (32 years old now)

I'm going to watch Hidden Figures with my 12 yo soon. Nice break from teen nonsense.
