Sweet Tooth (series on Netflix) super cute, although sickly woke.

Breaking the movie advice, but his dark materials on iPlayer has a third season out this year and would be a perfect watch with a 12yo DD!

PritiPatelsMaker · 26/11/2022 08:31

The new Enola Holes is out @freesoul12 if you haven't seen the numerous trailers! Wink

For some reason my phone changed that to Ebola Holmes but I think that's a different film entirely Grin

12yo DS and I are enjoying Wednesday on Netflix.

12yo DS and I are enjoying Wednesday on Netflix.

This.

And obviously Stranger Things.

My 12 yo has just got into Downton Abbey! Many happy hours of viewing…

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 19/12/2022 15:18

Tv - The Good Place
Movie - Don't Look Up

Shannith · 19/12/2022 15:24

Definitely Wednesday. DD is a fan girl now!

First series of Stranger Things - maybe the second. Forth is way too much
Hunger Games series
First couple of series of Buffy

DD is quite liking apocalyptic movies - the day after tomorrow and the like.

DD was a huge fan of the BBC Sherlock

Shannith · 19/12/2022 15:25

You may notice a theme now she's a bit older of things I actually want to watch. Having endured kids movies/TV for a long time.

Avrenim · 19/12/2022 15:29

Ella Enchanted
Stardust
Once (okay, that's a boxset)
Station Eleven (yeah, okay, that's a boxset too)
Old classics like Pride and Prejudice (1995 version) and North and South (based on Elizabeth Gaskell's novel) - both boxsets too though....

HS1990 · 19/12/2022 15:34

Princess diaries
Ice Princess
Uncle Buck (oldie but goodie)
Enchanted
My Girl
Secondhand Lions
Cool Runnings
Matilda
Mrs Doubtfire

Most of these are on Disney plus,.the others are just movies I have enjoyed and still do (32 years old now)

Thecrackineverything · 19/12/2022 15:36

I'm going to watch Hidden Figures with my 12 yo soon. Nice break from teen nonsense.
