Clothing after kids sizes

DD is 12 but most "14yo" size clothing is a borderline or too small.

The kids section seems to end at 14 really - where is a good shop for teens/tweens style wise? It seems like just going straight to the womens clothing in M&S or even H&M is not exactly the right fit - we had a walk through adult section in Primark and she was not impressed

DD is 13 but 5ft 6 and a comparable womens 12

We get some things from next who go up to a 15-16

Jeans and shorts she gets from New Look (again up to age 16) or primark

she has odd bits like hoodies and tees from superdry (in the sale mostly) in a 10

george at Asda do a range which is called something like ‘21’ and aimed at a younger adult market. Ditto H&M ‘divided’ range

we manage to find plenty but she’s not that fussed to spend lots regularly - we only shop for clothes a couple of times a year really

*comparable womens 10 not 12

New Look do a very good teen section called 915. River Island also go up to age 16 in some clothing.

You do have to really search for appropriate stuff in Primark's adult section but you can find some things there. DD was a tall pre-teen and we used to go to Primark and New Look mostly. She's 16 now and loves Berksha - no idea what their sizing is like in adult sizes but it probably goes small enough. You might find appropriate stuff that she likes there.

12 is a difficult age for clothing all round really.
