Dd has some lovely friends outside school. Get on well with not much drama. Inside school there is leaving out/falling out/general meanness! I have completely forgotten what it’s like to be a 12 year old girl. When do things settle down? Is this normal? Why can’t the girls be nice!! Help!

I completely agree my dd is being bullied by her old friend group, I was told by the year head that the girls settle down around the time they select there gcse subjects!!

Just seen this thread and oh God, yes.

The thing they all seem to love doing is "pranking" each other which makes the victim look stupid in front of everyone. Not funny and very cruel.

They also seem to love making f you tik toks when they fall out, which the whole form will then see and comment on and be talking about for weeks and weeks and weeks.

It is very hard to parent. I have no experience of it because mobile phones and social media did not exist when I was that age.
