Age 9 being told she’s weird by friends

Dd was super upset tonight. She’s being investigated for asd and adhd but that’s been going on for a few years as she finds it hard in new situations. Tonight she was super upset - saying one of her friends told her all of them think she’s weird behind her back. How do I help her resilience as she is a bit more immature. Talking to her had her howling for at least an hour which she hasn’t done since childhood. The girl who told her used to be her best friend but is maturing at a faster rate. I know the mother but not best mates so I don’t feel I can say something as had this with other daughter! I don’t know how to help!!!!

I don't have any practical advice sorry @Lushmetender.

How old is your DD and how has she been this week?

She’s been saying she’s ill 3 times this week and of course with Covid teachers are all too happy to send home. Had to have a word with her about feigning sickness but do plan to speak to teacher tomorrow. She is 9 and mentioned one of her school Mayes talks about the fact she has no friends and that if she she died no one would notice😳. But my dd mentioned everyone says she is saying it to her attention! Can’t believe this is the chat they are having.
