8 year old girl hormones/body changes

My daughter is nearly 8.5 now. In the last few months she has developed small breast buds, a bit of hair down there and discharge tiny amounts. Also needs deodorant and hair washing every 2 days.
I'm so worried about how young she is for all this.
Google says age 8 to start but I wondered if anyone else had this from age 8? I'm terrified her periods will start soon and she is too young to cope.

I also have an 8 year old. She has started wearing deodorant as she had started to smell in her arm pits. She is very tall for her age. Lots of emotional outbursts at the moment but haven’t noticed much else yet. I’m hoping any changes go on for a few years before the bigger ones. They do seem very young but unfortunately some children do develop earlier.

It can take quite a while to get from breast buds to periods and 8 is within normal limits to start puberty. Hopefully she doesn't start them too soon

Dd was the same at 8, periods started at 10.11, very hormonal around 8- 10, it's a hard time for them as young to be dealing with it all.

Dd was the same. Periods started the month after her 10th birthday exactly two years after I started noticing puberty signs. She's horrendously hormonal all the time, hoping she will come out of the other side earlier than most as she's started so young!

Thanks all. Yes my daughter is noticeably much moodier and angry. How long does this last.....eek

She's 11 next month. Honestly she's vile, rolls her eyes at us, shouts at us, slams doors, stomps upstairs, is rude etc. Obviously she gets told off for most of these things but it doesn't seem to stop her doing it!

Both my DDs started with signs of puberty around 8. Eldest started her periods at 11, and my youngest just turned 10 and started in February this year. It's quite sad that they're going through all these changes so young.

This is normal. My dd was same and she is 11 now in y6. Nil periods yet. She has an electronic shaver for her legs x
