Hello

Looking for advice. Can anyone recommend a monitoring app for dd's new iPhone?

She finally badgered me into getting one and I agreed but explained that I would be monitoring her usage.

I have googled, but there are a lot of systems out there. All with excellent reviews. Does anyone have first hand experience that can recommend one please?

Thank you Smile

Have you set it up as a child's account?

lolbrador · 26/12/2020 21:59

No, I didn't know I could do that. She already had an iTunes account from her iPad so we used that Confused

If you've not set it up as a child account I'm out sorry. That's the limit of my knowledge Smile

Thank you anyway! Does a child account allow monitoring? I could change it!

Yes you can see how long they've been on apps, set times for the phone to be active and they have to ask fir permission to download apps.

Family sharing is built in and it's really good

I did convert my sons account from an adult one to a child one which I can now control. The controls are really flexible as well. If you want to control browser use then get her to use safari and delete any other browsers.

I think this is what I did to make him a child
