I need shopping help! Fear not. Im not after anyone's credit cards, just some advice. / ight brain picking. My DD is having issues with her developing chest (nips) being extremely sensitive. She says the bra-lets she's been using this past year or so aren't helping, she says they move and rub against her. So there are some bras out there with thick super soft material cups that I think might help, as they would 'stay put' but I cant find band size 26 anywhere - even with formatted searches and slogging through over ten pages of google results. (Found the occasional 28s, but most starting at 32 - but I dont think I'd make a decent job of shortening a band, we would be talking total frankenbra tbh.)
So, does anyone out there know where I might find any 26" bras?? Thank u and fingers crossed. :-)

My dd is having exactly the same sensitive nips problem. We tried JL, M&S and Primark but the ones she finds best are Uniqlo Airism padded crop tops:

I don’t know her back size, but in women’s sizes she’s a small 4, and the age 10-11 ones are perfect (we tried the size up and they were too big).

Sorry, typo, she’s a small size 6 in women’s sizes - a 4 fits but has no growing room - to give you an idea of the sizing. The band is much tighter than M&S or Primark’s offerings in her age, about the same as the JL one recommended above.

M&S Angel range and Boux Avenue are known to come up tight in the back and fo 28s so might be worth a try.

There is a Rixie clip that can make back sizes smaller. Does she have breast tissue or is it the nipple thing that bothers her? A and AA means the measurement under and over bust have less than 1 inch up to 1 inch difference

Round 2 of the hunt for the lesser-spotted 26" bra! With thanks to all of u, and thinking of any1 else who might be looking for this too. x
**New Look, age-related bras start at 10-11, soft formed cup for the protection we're after, so I've ordered their smallest, 10-11. Fingers crossed.
**Pineapple, look lovely, but the crop-top style isnt what we need.
**La Redoute, little fabric triangles rather than formed/padded cup, dont think these would avoid the rubbing issue, so might come back to them.
**Debenhams - start at 28, so no-go for right now.
**Marksies - cos they start at 28, and their sizes dont usu come up big on our DD, but we might come back to them.
**Brastop does still exist, and looks like it might be good for my hefty hooters, but they also start at 28.
**KatherineHamilton - does do 26, but starting at D cup. (MN thread for small back, big cup www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1830705-In-search-of-a-26-band-bra )

__Others that DONT make/stock small cup 26:
Bravissimo, Figleaves, Triumph, Royce, Gossard, Miss Mary of Sweden, Next, TU, Little Women, The Little bra company, Clovia (despite stating that they do, when u click into any of cupped styles - no 26s!) ..amongst many others.
I'll post how I get on. In the meantime, cheers m'dears. Smile

Wow, all those posts while I've been putting together my last post, thank u! ♡ (Sorry if I miss any, I appreciate u all the same. x)

@GenericFemalePal - do u know, I think she's partly glad of the nip-jip as an excuse to get a big girls bra, but I bet she wont want to wear one every day! These are great, they will give us other options for solving the issue, thank u. x
@Montmartre - they look great, thank u. As our DD also has sensory processing issues I think she really needs some padding to muffle those pesky nips, so this is prob not for us.
@dementedpixie - BRILLIANT! I knew of extenders, but I didnt know these existed! They could help us give us more choice & maybe make bras last longer, saving money &being more sustainable. Yessssss!
MUMSNETTERS TOTALLY ROCK!

I bought 28 backs from M&S for v slight DD who is a 28E and they were way too tight. I'm a 28 back too and tried the band. It was excruciating. Definitely give M&S a try as they come up really small.
