What meals do your 10-12 year olds cook?

I'm after some ideas of simple meals that my nearly 11 year old can make for the family, with very minimal input. Any suggestions please? To give you an idea of the level that he's at, he can make the following with either minimal (drawing attention to a step he may have missed in a recipe, advise on when something is at the intended consistency, flipping pancakes, assistance with handling sharp or hot items/oven/hob safely) or no assistance:

Chocolate chip cookies
Banana mug cake
American style pancakes
Kebabs
Fruit salad
Sandwiches/wraps
Toast
Homemade pizzas.... sort of. He puts the toppings on.
He's made chili con carne once

He could try
Scrambled egg
Omelette
Baked potatoes with various toppings
A simple pasta bake

Other things DS11 can do:
Pasta and meatballs (pre made meatballs)
Chicken kebabs, plus a homemade flatbread of flour and Greek yoghurt.
Scrambled eggs
None bake cheesecake

I make my just 11yo choose one recipe a week from a cookbook and make that.

We've just bought Jamie Oliver's new book 7 Ways. She's made about 5 interesting recipes from it so far. I think it's one of his better books. Recipes are simple and well explained, ingredients are easy to find and everything so far has been great tasting.

My 9 year old makes "homemade" pizzas using pre-bought bases, and makes home made chips (cut up potatoes, roll them in a big bowl with some oil and salt, put them on baking paper on an oven tray and in the oven for 40 minutes) with sausages or something from the freezer, and microwaves beans or frozen vegetables.

My now 13 year old also "made" pasta pesto (dry pasta, ready made tortellini, or ready made gnocchi and jar of pesto) at 9. Current 9 year old doesn't only because he doesn't like pasta or gnocchi! Easy though.

Thank you for these ideas! They're exactly at the level I was thinking of.

My 12 year old makes sandwiches and choc rice crispy cakes. That’s it. He makes me cups of tea though so that’s something.

As well as sandwiches and snacks, my 11 year old can make tuna sweetcorn pasta, pasta and pesto, scrambled egg/omelette, quesadillas, smoothies, fruit salad and, with a bit more help, chicken enchiladas. He enjoys being in the kitchen and says he's going to own a restaurant when he's older!
