My DD (11) has been watching a lot of YouTube and Netflix which have quite a few innuendos and cursing. She curses a lot, and flips her brother off all the time. She watches 12s and 15s behind my back a lot of the time, and I don't mind the occasional one, I just feel like it's not appropriate to watch that much. She knows a lot of stuff her friends don't, and talks about it quite a bit. She often mocks her friends, her teachers and me. I understand she's growing up, I just don't find the fact that she shares lots of interests with her 17 yo cousins. She's read Homestuck, which is quite heavy with cursing, behind my back and watched Stranger Things with her brothers. I'm overreacting, right? :)
