Hi, My 12yr old is in crop tops but is ready for bras I'm just not sure where is the best place to get one from. I don't drive so find it difficult to get to shops to try on etc looking online I'm not sure what size would be her size etc.
Really could use some ideas? Thanks x

Debenhams or pink at Victoria secret

DD's came from M&S. I measured her and sent her into the changing room with a selection of sizes around that. Her next ones came from Primark using a similar method!

Thanks ladies, I have seen sizes AA and A and I presume I go for none underwire? X

No wires. But I would advise perhaps allowing some moulding. Dont see it as padding. It's much less embarrassing for them than the non lined/non t shirt kind.

Yes, DD preferred the ones with moulded cups. I imagine because of the smoother profile.

Don't forget that she'll be growing so you'll need to check the fit over time.

Tippexy · 31/12/2019 15:47

Please measure her properly!

Dd age 12 has just got some pretty bralets from H&M.

We went to M&S, they do a brand called "Angles". I have a really large bust so learned a lot over the years about fitting and declined a fitting service.

I got lot of styles and sizes and DD tried all of them, it took a while.

i find them quite sinple looking, no frills, DD likes them and they seem comfortable. I see DD enough without her top and there are no lines or marks.

But, you need to check them regularly, DD went from a 28A to a 30AA to a 32B to a 30D (she has a family history of E++ sizes) in a matter of 18 months. They change their shape a lot faster than any adult so we are sticking with either white or nude to manage the school shirts for the moment. No colour or fancy patterns just for the weekend. You may need to think about a sports bra as well, DD def needs one.

My daughter got sports bras from sports direct. Quite thick material so look ok under her school shirt.

Matalan do a range that look almost exactly like the M&S angel bras, but are half the price.
DD2 had them a while ago, but no longer fits into the range. She’s 11 and a 32D 🙈
