Shoe size

Can I ask what size shoe your pre teen is? My dd is 9y3m and very tall - 145cm/ 98th centile. She's a 2-2.5 shoe which I think is closer to average. When do kids reach their final shoe size anyway? I'm very average myself fwiw 5'5" and shoe 5.

My DS has just turned 12. When he was 11 he went into a size 10 shoe!!!!!! He's not particularly tall- 5' 0" (but is over weight if that is relevant...). I'm hoping it's the start of a height growth spurt.
It's ridiculous having to pay men's prices and VAT for an 11 yr old.

I think it all depends.

DD is just 12, 1.63m (5ft4) and wears 4.5/5 depending on brand. I am 5ft5 and wear the same size shoes so I would assume DD still grows and will add inches and shoe sizes. She still wears the same size for over a year now though.

Her friend (also just turned 12) is just a bit taller and wears size 8.

I think at 9 DD was in size 3.

10 year old twins:
DS, 136 cm tall, size 5 feet
DD, 128 cm tall, size 13 feet.

I am small, slightly built, size 3 feet. DH very average - 6ft, size 10.

Hugolast, Clarks do go up to an 11 in a few boys shoe ranges.
