Help!!! I’m going to stay with a friend in Turkey in a couple of weeks and i’d Like to take a gift for her 12 year old daughter. I have no idea what to buy 12 year old girls!!!

My friend’s family are quite conservative so I want to avoid anything too teenage, certainly nothing like make up. They are Muslim so also nothing which might cause offence in that respect.
I’d like to take something which might be seen as typically ‘British’
I tried to ask my friend but she is firstly insistent that I don’t need to bring a gift (I know!) but then also said she doesn’t know what sort of thing I might be able to get here - so I know she won’t be upset if I do take something for her daughter - who I have never met! - but she hasn’t helped me to narrow down the choices at all!
