Coming to the UK next month, and wanted to know what's currently popular for 6 year old boys? He'll be joining year 2, and I wanted to know what the current pop culture for that age is. I guess different regions may vary a bit, but I guess that it there'll be some wider trends?

Not necessarily what we'd like them to be doing mind! Just what I can expect of his classmates, so he can interact a bit more easily.

Does he like football? At that age I think that if they play footie at break and lunch, they have an instant group of friends. I wouldn’t worry too much about anything else Smile

Pokemon cards, Fortnite dances, yo-yos, and definitely football at the moment.

Football is an obvious call. He likes to watch and play (I don't watch, think I've seen about minute of the world cup, didn't know the last result until someone at work told me), it's a rugby household :D.

Pokemon cards is that a collecting thing, swapsies etc? Thinking of getting him into pokemon Go when we move, on my or OH phone, gives us a reason to explore the neighbourhood (he knows it a bit), and gets us out.

Any other popular things atm?

Didn't mean to sound like I'd thought of football btw! Just reread and it sounds a bit off.

Is there an edit feature? I looked quickly.

Have a look at CBBC.

Don't assumet that because the pokemon cards are a thing that the phone game is, no-one plays the game at DD's school, but lots interested in the cards.

There's huge variation, even in schools around here, friends in different schools in the same area have completely different ideas, he'll probably just be interesting by being new, and have plenty of time 'cos of that.

Fortnite and minecraft with my boys. Older Ds8 also likes football. Younger Ds almost 6 no interest. Youtube, hobbiekids tv and dan tdm.

Toys still nerf and lego.
