Fortnite aged 9??

All of my DS friends seem to be allowed to play Fortnite, they are aged 8/9 and in Year 4! My 14 yr old plays it and younger has asked.... my reaction is no way, but I am quite shocked that all his friends who come round to play talk about it. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I think he's far too young...

My 10 year old plays it with his friends.

Some have come off it as it is addictive, but we don't have this problem luckily as Ds2 is too busy most of the time so only has a chance to game a couple of hours over the weekend (sometimes less, sometimes more).

Half terms we tend to be out of the country with no access to Xbox too.

Like with all gaming it needs management and I do make sure he only plays with his close friends as opposed to random people.
