9 year old and wanting to be naked

I have 9 year old ds. He hates wearing clothes and soon as gets home from school he strips off completely.
He will argue about putting clothes back on
Is this normal behaviour ?

Perfectly normal. Nothing wrong in it either. As a society we have issues with the human body being naked but there is no crime in it.

My DD strips most days too and sleeps naked. Its fine.

Mine is 12 and would rather be naked. We have a boxers please if downstairs rule.

DS 13 is like this, will be naked whenever he can! I asked him how he would feel if we all wandered around the house naked-he said that would be fine!

We have this but ds is younger. He knows he has to wear pants now as nobody wants to look at his bottom!

I have a pubescent 11yr old dd who's the same. I want her to feel comfortable but also fit into societal norms. So it's clothes off upstairs if you like, but never downstairs-we have builders, Amazon deliveries, elderly neighbours etc calling unannounced and some of them may well be offended by the sight of her (she is 5ft1) adult in appearance bottom.

I have an adult friend who describes herself as a part-time nudist. She strips off as soon as she gets home from work. I think it's fine as long as no-one else is made uncomfortable by it.

I would not want bottoms on my couch. I have enough cleaning to do. So underwear seems fine to me - maybe some flowing pyjama shorts that don't restrict? I am certainly fond of removing my bra when I get in!

With are family be naked in your room or in the shower but not anywhere else certainly not downstairs.

My dh and I have a 'no naked butts on the couch' rule. I'd say perhaps implement something similar with your ds as a reasonable compromise.
