Y6 where are you buying uniform?

My dd is going into y6 in sept, she has always worn a traditional pleated M&S skirt to school but is now declaring it boring and old fashioned - she may have a point.
She'd like to wear leggings but I'm not happy with that, so can anyone please advise where they're finding good for skirts or jeggings please?
I've checked M&S but I'm not too sure about their skirts, John Lewis was a no no and Next didn't seem great either.
She is tall and solidly built, wears age 12-13 typically.

My dd wore the Jersey school trousers from Mand S and a pair from Asda. A bit less tight than leggings but comfy and they looked nice.

Two things for you to consider:

  1. does the school actually allow jeggings?

  2. what is the secondary uniform like? If they don't allow fancy skirts and jeggings, maybe best not to go down that route in y6 as it might make for more battles in y7 iyswim
