12.5 year old - starting to get spots - Dermalogica or La Roche Posay

Hi - my DD is 12.5 and she has started to get some very small little spots. They are tiny but cropping up more and more across her nose and a little on her forehead.

We tried the Simple face wipes, the ones that are for balancing the skin. They seemed to help for a while but don't seem to be doing to job now.

I was wondering about the pre-teen range by Dermalogica or the La Roche Posay range? Is she too young do you think? Am I jumping the gun and therefore meaning as she gets older we will have already tried everything?

If anyone has some feedback on these products or thoughts in general, that would be great!

Warm flannel and a gentle non foaming face wash and use some witch hazel if necessary. They will get spots at this age, it's part of growing up, I think using products at this age can make things worse sometimes.

Ds uses warm flannel and dove sensitive soap,I also had to make sure he knew how to properly wash his face, as the top of his forehead and under his chin were dry
See if she is properly washing her face too.

I second warm (clean) flannel and gentle face wash. I use Avene Soapless Gel Cleanser - it's great. I also second Witch Hazel; my DS gets clogged pores on his nose sometimes and I use the Boots Distilled Witch Hazel on them. I would only swipe the affected areas. Aside from that, I wouldn't use anything else. No moisturiser and definitely no make-up. Keep it as simple as possible.

Also - remind her not to touch/pick her face. It's the quickest way to spread the bacteria.
