Suitable books/websites to help dd with 'growing up' stuff

I'm on the hunt for books and/or websites for my dd (10yrs) to read to help come to terms with all the raging hormones she has running riot at the moment.

She is developing physically so so fast. We talk about this alot and she gets that she is growing up and these things happen because she can see the changes happening, but what really need help with is her huge major mood swings. She just doesnt get why they happen, no matter how much we talk about it, because they are not physical so cant see them (if that makes any sense?!)

So just wondered if there was anything suitable for her to read? She loves knowledge and information, she thrives on it, so thinking this could be the way forward for her to understanding the whys and whats happening of the changes she is going through.

Thank you for any imput/advise Grin

I got my DD a couple of books which have been useful - I'll post links.
Ready Set Go - This book is aimed at younger girls talking about puberty. I preferred it to some other books aimed at slightly older girls because it is really about body changes, not so much about sex. I didn't want the whole sex and boyfriends side of things to worry DD when she was only 9yo at the time - the boobs and moods were enough for us to be dealing with.

Cool Calm Confident - This book isn't directly to do with puberty, might help your DD cope with her mood swings. It's a workbook which you and she can work through together with lots of ideas for improving communication and coping with feelings. It might give you both some tools for defusing hormonal mood swings.

Thank you guys for the recommendations, I have ordered both the books mentioned and have had a look at the website, that looks like it could be usefull for her to look/read through.

It's such a confusing time for our developing dc, it's no wonder they struggle with it all Sad

The American Girls Care and Keeping of your Book is very good. They have one for younger girls and a second one for older girls.
