11 year old DD - sensitive skin and spots

Sorry if this is repeating the previous thread. I have quite a specific question re. spot treatments for a girl who has always had sensitive, dry skin. She has always been prone to facial blemishes of one sort or another and with recent hormonal changes has had a couple of more 'teenage' looking spots. She is very aware of them and my fear is that she will probably be prone to spots given her skin history.

I am very different - very robust, quite oily skin - and I bunged everything I could find on my face in my teens, washed with spot soap etc. This obviously doesn't seem a good course of action for DD, but what should she do instead? She's been washing with very mild E45 wash up till now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for skincare for sensitive, dry yet spotty skin? Do you think I should post this in a different section perhaps?

Thanks!

Thanks - that's helpful. Does your daughter have sensitive skin?

My daughter uses the Avene wash (boots), it is quite expensive but especially for senstive, young, spotty skin. Make sure she uses a light simple moisturiser also.

Thanks shuffara - that sounds like a good tip. I've just googled it and there seem to be lots of Avene products - do you have the exact name of the one your daughter uses?
