Any good parenting books about pre teens?

After reading loads of parenting books when the children were babies and toddlers, it's struck me that I'm moving into a new area of parenting (dd is 9) and have no idea how to deal with it!

Can anyone recommend any books about this age upwards?

You and your tween is a good one, I got mine from Amazon. You can read an extract before you buy too.

Sorry, resurrecting an old thread!

Are there any other recommendations - this book seems to be quite girl orientated and I'd like something that will give me an idea of how much I can expect from my 10 yr old son. I feel like I've been giving him a really hard time lately ( no personal responsibility, awareness of others blah blah), and I think maybe I needs some clue as to what's going on in his head.

I have tried asking him but he just shrugs and says he's OK Hmm I think he just wants to avoid another discussion Blush

The Princess Bitchface Syndrome by Michael Carr-Gregg.
It's Australian, but gives good insight into the pre-teen & teenage years.
Got my copy from Amazon.
