1st time mum and clueless! Please educate me on education!

Hi, I live in Brighton now but know nothing abouth the schools/nurseries etc as I grew up in North Wales.

My son is 1 so I'm not stressing too much atm! I just realised that when it does come to it I don't have a clue where to start!

All I want is a state pre-school/play group(?) for him to go to when he's 3 before going to primary school.
Where do I go to find out about my choices and how/when to apply?

Urgh makes me wish I was dragging bringing him up in my old comfy litle town

Ask around among other parents for preschools and schools with good reputations.

go on ur council website to look @ primary schools & itll say if they have a nursery then u can email or phone for more info

ask at local library and council offices,they will usually have information about local groups
