DD is 2.4 and currently registered with a local preschool, we are in the process of moving house and i want her to go to a different preschool in the same borough. Does anyone know if I need to inform the council or preschool she is registered with that we want to take her off the list or just register with new one? Thanks!

I have moved my dd. At the beginning of the new half term I simply registered her with the new one - I think they sort the funding out themselves.

Sounds like she's probably not funded at present? If not, then just let the "old" pre-school know, then re-register her with the new one. The pre-school will get you to fill in the forms for funding when she's eligible for it.

If she's being funded, then this will have been applied for in the first half of the term to cover until Easter. In this case your "old" pre-school should transfer her funding to her "new" pre-school and she should start after half term. That's how it works here anyway.

No not funded at present, she isn't three until September. Thanks very much for your information. I'll contact "old" preschool after half term to take her off list and register her at new one.
