Are there any Harpenden mums out there that can give me a bit of advice/local insight please?
My DP and I are (like many before us) hoping to move out of London to Harpenden. However, a big concern is whether we will be able to secure a place at a decent nursery/pre-school/playgroup for our DD once we get there (she will be 3 in December).
She currently attends a lovely friendly playgroup 3 morns a week and is having lots of fun - but getting her in was difficult. Everyone seems to put their DC's names down from birth where we live.
I have this fear we could move and find DD has no pre-school setting to go to (or not for months) and no little local friends to play with either. She'd be so bored with just me for entertainment and there are only so many mum and toddler activities you can go to.
