toddler is 4 in autumn and am wondering how many sessions would be good for him, whether all day or half day.. thinking also to maybe split between two groups for more varied experiences etc but is that gonna be too diluted?

FOr my DD's final year before school she did 4 sessions at pre-school, 2 at one pre-school, 2 at another.
Perhaps not ideal (the split that is ) but has worked well for her

in an ideal world I'd do 4 or 5 with one provider. A good preschool will give your child a wealth of varied experiences, so I wouldn't worry about that.
